![]() ![]() If you’re looking for the best in CAD solutions, you search starts and ends with Creo. The PTC family of products: Creo seamlessly integrates with PTC’s suite of market-leading industrial software solutions like Windchill PLM, ThingWorx IoT, and Vuforia AR, just to name a few.And unlike other CAD systems that have distinct CAD systems for different types of customers, Creo companies, customers, and suppliers of all sizes can share data files effortlessly. Scalable: Creo is competitively priced for start-ups through major enterprises.PTC University offers best-in-class live and virtual, instructor-led and self-paced training courses for Creo, including certification courses and an innovative subscription-based service with unlimited virtual, instructor-led classes. Easy to use: PTC has invested millions of development dollars and thousands of development hours to make Creo intuitive and easy to use.You may not use all of these technologies today, but Creo has them available when you need them. A powerhouse in the world of model-based definition (MBD), Creo is award-winning for breakthroughs in generative design, real-time simulation, and additive manufacturing, to name a few. Powerful: Creo is recognized as a technology leader. Running Enscape alongside Archicad is as simple as downloading the Enscape application, connecting your license, opening a 3D window in your Archicad project, then clicking on the open Enscape button from the Enscape toolbar. ![]() With Creo, the design intent and integrity of your model is maintained. With Creo, there are so many deeply integrated design capabilities that the 3D model can be maintained throughout the design process and beyond. Integrated: Many competitive CAD systems are challenged when a part design is exported to a third-party software and then reimported. When a part is changed, perhaps years later by another engineer, the original design intent is maintained, helping to ensure a quality design. Parametric modeling captures the design intent, not just the dimensions. Parametric: PTC was the innovator of parametric modeling, and we continue to lead the way with Creo.So that's a way for you to edit one element without having to ungroup everything. There are many CAD solutions available, but none of them match up to the combined benefits of Creo: I can click in one of those objects, change it, stretch it out, and then when I go ahead and uncheck that suspend groups, it goes back to becoming a group. So I'm gonna go ahead and click that so now I suspended the groups temporarily. What you can do is, use this icon here on the top to suspend groups temporarily or use the shortcut option g on the mac, or alt g on the windows. Sometimes this is gonna take too much time. ArchiCAD ArchiCAD for Mac Trial version In English V 19 3. Also if you want to edit one of the elements that is inside a group, you don't need to ungroup it and then group it again. We need training videos that teach, rather than show off what Archicad can do. Archicad is clearly the most capable BIM app that is also Mac-native. So right now, this is not a group anymore. I've been around long enough to know that this is probably true to some extent for any CAD or BIM app during the learning phase, but seriously Archicad seems to be the least user-friendly. If you want to you can ungroup them by going on edit, grouping and ungroup or you can use the short cut option command g on the mac or control shift g on the windows. Sometimes when you model the wall using the rectangular method, the walls will come as one group as well. ![]() So now I can use control d to drag it around so it's one group. Now we have this as one element, so when I click in one I select them all. To do that we go to edit, grouping, group, or we can use the shortcut command g on the mac or control g on the windows. GraphiSoft ArchiCAD’s innovative BIM (building information model) solution helps you win more business while letting you concentrate on your core skill - creating inspiring designs. I'm gonna select those sofa modules here and we can group them together. From the outset, ArchiCAD was developed specifically to address the architect’s desire for great design without compromising on practical needs. So basically we can select a bunch of elements. ![]() When you're modeling your project, one way to keep it organized is by using groups. ![]()
